How many new mbbs seats may increase in J&k and When will JKBOPEE release 2nd round counselling schedule ?
As per information received from National Medical Commission (NMC), the process of increasing MBBS seats for the academic session 2025 is in progress.
In order to include newly authorized MBBS seats in Round-2 of UG Counselling 2025, the competent authority has decided to start the Round-2 of UG Counselling 2025 from 29th Aug., 2025 tentatively. However, the revised schedule for Round-2 will be published shortly.

Around 400 new mbbs seats may increase in 8 gmc,s of Jammu and Kashmir.
When will JKBOPEE release 2nd round counselling schedule ?
JKBOPEE has recently released notification for Hindu Minority (HM) /Non-Resident Indian (NRI) seats ( removal of deficiencies ).
The last date for removal of deficiencies is 30 August 2025.
JKBOPEE 2ND ROUND COUNSELLING SCHEDULE MAY RELEASE IN 1ST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER.
