Union Cabinet Approves 13 New Kendriya Vidyalayas For J&K
The Union Cabinet has approved establishment of 13 new Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) in Jammu and Kashmir to improve access to education in the region.
According to details, in Jammu region the new KVs will be set up in Gool, Ramban, Bani and Ramkote in Kathua district), Reasi and Kakriyal Katra, Mughal Maidan (Kishtwar), Gulpur (Poonch), Vijaypur (Samba), and Panchari (Udhampur).
In the Kashmir valley, the approved KVs will be established in Drugmulla (Kupwara), Ratnipora, and Galander Chandhara (Pulwama),
